In March 1992, Delta Education and Charitable Foundation (DECF) was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. DECF has assisted hundreds of young men and women by funding literacy programs, cultural enrichment events, physical and mental health programs, STEM activities, HIV/AIDS awareness initiatives, and need-based scholarships. Each year the Foundation seeks to expand its membership, sponsors and contributors in which such funding allows us to continue our purpose, expand our charitable activities in the community and fund scholarships for Houston area high school seniors.

Delta Education and Charitable Foundation (DECF) was organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes but not limited to endeavors in areas of social awareness and cultural development.
